Felis Britannica Annual Winners Show and Gala Dinner

The highlight of the Felis Britannica show calendar,  the only opportunity to  compete to win a National Winner title by winning best in category* at the show on the Saturday. 

​

Only cats who are owned by Felis Britannica members and registered in the pedigree book are eligible to compete for the National Winner title on the Saturday but the Sunday show is open to all , including non members.

​

Cats must also have met the qualification requirements to enter on the Saturday.  No qualification is required on the Sunday. 

​

We are also hosting a Gala Dinner on the Saturday night where the annual awards will be presented.

Our Judges

We are excited to welcome 3 international judges to the UK. 

Qualification for the National Winner Show on Saturday ONLY

Qualification is required for the National Winners Show on the Saturday ONLY

All cats must be registered in the Felis Britannica Pedigree Book in the exhibitor name and have a registration commencing (GB) FB LO, (GB) FB RIEX  or (GB) FB PET. 

This cat must owned by a member of a Felis Britannica club, namely Garden of England Cat Club, Strictly Cats or The Viking Cat Club.

This does not apply to entries on Sunday.

Entry Fees

One day £50 per Cat 
Both days £70 per cat


All entry fees include a single metal pen and an electronic  catalogue.

Printed Catalogue £3

Double Pen Upgrade is available at £15

 

Payment

An invoice will be sent upon receipt of entry.

​

The show manager has the right to return entries if payment is not made by the show closing date without prior discussion.

 

A £10 tardy turtle fee will be applied to all payments received after the closing date of 1st January.

Rosettes

Rosettes will be given for Best in Variety and Best in Show. Best in Category and Best of the Best will receive trophies.

 

If class rosettes are required these can be added to your entry. Rosettes are £5 each

Gala Dinner and Annual Awards Presentation

We will be hosting a Gala dinner on Saturday 17th January at the Holiday Inn, Royal Leamington Spa. Where we will be presenting the 2025 points awards. Everyone is welcome to come and share in the celebration of the culmination of the 2025 show season.

​

We will have a photographer at the show on Sunday, so you can get professional photos to mark the occasion of your cat getting an annual award.

 

The hotel is cat friendly so you don't need to be far from your furry charges. 

​

Tickets are £45 per person and include 3 course meal and DJ. 

​

Important Information

Please note that no cats may be removed from the show hall before the official close of the show. To do so will mean an automatic forfeit of any awards made at the show.

​

Exhibitor Code of Ethics

Please be aware by entering a cat to a show you are agreeing to adhere to FIFe exhibitors code of ethics  which is available here.  We would suggest you familiarise your self with this new addition to the show rules. 

​

White Cats

No white cat can be accepted at a FIFe show without a Certificate of Full Hearing. This will need to be produced during vetting in.

​

Vaccinations

All cats must be inoculated against Feline Infectious Enteritis, FVR and FCV. The full course in accordance with FIFe vaccination rules (available here see section 2.1) and have been completed at least 15 days prior to the show. You will be required to produce a current vaccination certificate for each cat exhibited during vetting in.  At the show managers discretion you may send proof of vaccination within 7 days of the show to the show manager, if you do not do this your cat will be disqualified and lose any certificates and awards.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)

Should any cat(s) owned by, or living with the exhibitor be diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) no cat from the household must attend shows until a month after either the treatment course for FIP is completed or death from FIP..

Exhibitors are reminded to ensure that they leave hotel rooms in a clean and tidy state so that we can be welcomed back in the future. This is especially pertinent if you are travelling with entire males.

Entries are accepted at the discretion of the show manager who shall reserve the right to refuse entries without disclosing the reason.
