Debbie Downham

President

Debbie has been actively involved in FIFe for many years, she breed Cornish Rex and Peterbalds under the prefix Celexa. 

Sarah Johnson

Vice President 

Sarah alongside being our vice president is a FIFe judge for Category 1, 2 & 4D. She is also on FIFe's Disciplinary  commission.  Sarah was involved in the development of the Oriental Bi-colours and she now breed exotic shorthairs under her prefix Landican.

Penny Tomlin

Deputy Vice President

Penny breeds Exotics and Persians under the cattery name Zanarkand. She has been an instrumental member of Garden of England Cat Club before joining Felis Britannica. 

Gemma Chapman

General Secretary

Gemma alongside her busy home life with her children with her husband Nick breed Ragdolls under the prefix TiggersRus.

Tracey Milne

Treasurer

Tracey has a background in finance so is well suited to the treasurer role. Outside of working in finance she has Maine Coon and American Curls.

Margaret Scott

Registrar

Margaret is our long suffering registrar, she used to breed Norwegians and Siberians but more recently has shown Abyssians.

Sharon Armstrong-Taylor

Show Commission Chair

Sharon shows Norwegian Forest cats and has loves showing both in the UK and across Europe. She brings this experience to the show commission helping grow Felis Britannica shows.

Nadine Duffin

Breeding Health & Welfare Chair

Nadine is passionate about cats health and is particularly interested with genetics. In part from a MSc study in health conditions related to x-ray image interpretation. She breeds the occasional litter of Norwegian Forest Cats under the Cattery name Catticus.

Our commissions support the work of Felis Britannica, they each have a role in ensure Felis Britannica functions effectively.

Breeding Health & Welfare

The Breeding Health & Welfare commission supports the work of the registrar.  Establish good relationships and maintain good links with relevant government ministries, the media, veterinary institutions and animal welfare agencies . To support careful breeding of pedigree cats and to actively work against any unsatisfactory mismanagement related to keeping cats

Show Commision

The show commission organises the annual winners show and points award. It also reviews all show held by Felis Britannica clubs.

Disciplinary Commission

The Disciplinary Commission is headed up by the Disciplinary Commission Officer (DCO) who sits separately from the Executive Committee but reports proven complaints to the Executive Committee.  The DCO appoints investigation panel members who are a member of a Felis Britannica Club to investigate any complaints,
